Q2: How do I clean the deep fryer? Can I submerge the main unit in water? A: No, you should never submerge the main housing unit in water. The key feature for easy cleaning is that the two parts that get dirty—the heating element and the inner pot—are removable. You can take them out after the oil has cooled and wash them separately. The outer housing should only be wiped clean with a damp cloth.
Q3: What type of oil should I use, and how often should I change it? A: We recommend using high-smoke-point oils like peanut, canola, or vegetable oil for best results. You should change the oil after 8-10 uses, or sooner if it becomes dark, smokes easily, or develops an off smell. Always filter the cooled oil after each use to remove food particles and extend its life.
Q4: What is the wattage? Will it work in my country? A: This unit is rated at 2400W and operates on AC 220-240V, 50/60Hz. This voltage is standard in the UK, EU, Australia, Asia, and most other countries outside of North America. It is not compatible with the 110-120V standard used in the US and Canada without a very powerful voltage converter.
